About me

Goda Tikniūtė, MD, is a psychiatrist and psychotherapist who currently practices at Romuvos Clinic in Kaunas. She also works as a psychiatrist and lecturer at the Psychiatry Clinic of the Kaunas Clinics at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences. Before pursuing a career in psychiatry, she earned a bachelor's degree in theology and philosophy, as well as a master's degree in public communications from Vytautas Magnus University.


Dr. Tikniūtė's research interests include crisis management, the treatment of addictive and personality disorders, and the connections between different fields of knowledge, such as philosophy, theology, communication science, and psychiatry. She also explores the relationship between various theories and practices of psychotherapy. She is a certified CBT therapist and specializes in schema therapy. Currently, she is a fourth-year student at the Logotherapy and Existential Analysis Institute.
