Erkki Isometsä, MD, PhD, is a Professor of Psychiatry and Chief Physician at the University of Helsinki and Helsinki University Hospital. He is also President of The Finnish Psychiatric Association in 2020-2021, and has been an active researcher of mood disorders and suicidal behavior throughout his career.
