Svante Bäck lives since many years in Västervik, Sweden. For more than 30 years he has been the chief physician at the psychiatric clinic in his hometown. With a profound interest of clinical work, he found it challenging with patients who for no obvious reason did suicide attempt. Learning about the importance of childhood trauma, nowadays known as complex PTSD, he found one of the clues of this behavior.
