About me

Lowan Stewart is a physician who has practiced in both the United States and Norway, with over 20 years of experience in emergency medicine. He has led emergency departments, helped establish emergency medicine as a specialty in Norway, and founded several ketamine therapy clinics. Stewart currently researches new psychoactive medicines for treating mood disorders and addiction and advises public ketamine treatment centers. He is active in professional organizations and now serves as Medical Director at Axonklinikken.
